Smooth Transition & Onboarding

Empower Your Community: Navigating the H&E Property Management Transition with Ease

Embark on the journey of transitioning to H&E Property Management with confidence. We recognize that deciding to switch property management can be intricate. At H&E, our commitment is to guide you through a seamless and efficient experience, whether you're currently with another management firm or self-managing your community.

1. Contract Evaluation: Before taking any steps towards termination, we recommend communities carefully evaluate their existing contract. Seeking legal counsel is crucial, to ensuring an informed decision about the feasibility of terminating your current contract.

2. Termination Letter Assistance: Crafting a termination letter involves legal considerations. Communities are urged to consult their legal counsel to align the letter with contractual obligations. While we provide support, obtaining legal advice guarantees compliance and minimizes potential complications.

3. Follow-up Confirmation: A comprehensive follow-up letter is sent to your current management firm. This letter serves as a confirmation of the termination, detailing requested documents, and setting clear deadlines. Feel free to reach out for a sample of this letter.

4. Funds Transition: We ensure a seamless transition of Association funds, managing the transfer from your previous management company's banking institution to our designated partner.

5. Regulatory Compliance: To formalize the transition, we file a new designation of management form with Michigan Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, officially appointing H&E Property Management as your trusted management company.

H&E Property Management Transition Checklist: Onboarding Essentials

To facilitate a smooth transition, we kindly request the following:

  • An ownership and resident roster, containing names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses.
  • A vendor roster, including names, addresses, and contact details.
  • The Association's dues schedule and corresponding amounts.

These essential steps ensure a seamless onboarding process. We're committed to making this transition effortless. Welcome to a new era of property management excellence!
